Amber Scientific Pty Ltd was commenced in 1992 after seven years of research and development in reagent manufacture (since 1985). The customer base in the first seven years grew from small private pathology companies interested mainly in Biochemistry reagents, to large private and public hospitals interested mainly in prepared stains for use in Haematology, Histopathology and Microbiology. During this time there were also developments in industrial reagents for water analysis, wine analysis, and specific chemical solution reagents for dedicated on line analysis.
