So here goes… Electrofusion, for those that are interested, is basically an electric coil contained within a plastic pipe socketed fitting. The poly pipe and fitting is heated by the electrical coil to a set temperature, so as to melt the fitting and the plastic pipe that it is being welded to, in a controlled fashion, causing the two items to be joined and become as one part.
