Hi my name is Lisa Thompson, I run Avon Valley Dairy, it is a family farm, we have 6 children and milk Ayrshire Cows, they are red and white and give a very high quality milk, high in the good stuff protein and butter fat.

We are the only Ayrshire herd in WA. Our girls are not fed any nasties, we are hormone, antibiotic and GM free. Our milk is bottled at the same time as milking, and therefore is not stored in Vats or transported to processing plants as we manufacture on farm. Which means when we say fresh we mean bottled within 5 minutes of the milk leaving the cows udder.

Your milk can then be in the shops by the afternoon of the same day it left the cow. Your milk is pasteurised only (Health Dept Regulation)but not homoginised, therefore keeping your milk and natural as

Your milk is special, as it comes from one of 20 cows, all with names and personalities of their own.

We love our environment that is why we offer glass bottle packaging, which can be re used by us when you return the bottle to the place of purchase or you can recycle yourself.

There is 2 prices at the shop, one for milk with a return bottle (cheaper) and one for a new bottle with milk (initial purchase).

We are very proud of our milk, and I have left the best till last...the taste...Ayrshire milk is a whole food, is thick and creamy and like the old days has the cream on top. Doesn't compare to the others, in a class of it's own!
