Today’s health care industry demands graduates with an increasing range of skills in areas including preventative medicine, health, ageing and wellness. This degree program has been designed to deliver theoretical knowledge underpinned by extensive practical training to guide students in the application of clinical aesthetics practices.
The Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Clinical Aesthetics) is a three year full-time (or part-time equivalent) course that has been designed to provide students with opportunities for employment in a range of health service industries to support the practice of Clinical Aesthetics.
Graduates of the degree will be equipped for careers as clinical aestheticians for;
dermal therapy clinics
health care clinics
fitness centres
aesthetics clinics

pre and post-operative patient care support (in the area of wound healing)
cosmeceutical, aesthetic and dermal equipment product such as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Laser.
being part of a professional health care team, and
opportunity for self-employment
Graduates may choose to become members of professional associations and industry peak bodies which support and promote high ethical standards and practices within the health and wellness industries.
